Configuring McAfee Security Center

1. Open McAfee SecurityCenter, then click “personal firewall plus”
   Note: If Personal Firewall Plus is not enabled, you do not need to continue
   Click “View the Internet Applications List”

   

2. In the “Internet Applications” list, find “CPAexcel” with the file name “els_ff.exe”
   Click to highlight it, then in the “Change Permissions To…” list, click “Allow Full Access”
   If you cannot find it in the list, either run CPAexcel first or manually add the application by clicking “New Allowed Application”
   The default location of this file is C:Program FilesEfficient Learning SystemsCPAexcelrcmozillaels_ff.exe

   

3. In the “Internet Applications” list, find “CPAexcel Java(TM) Component” with the file name “CPAexcel.exe”
   Click to highlight it, then in the “Change Permissions To…” list, click “Allow Full Access”
   If you cannot find it in the list, either run CPAexcel first or manually add the application by clicking “New Allowed Application”
   The default location of this file is C:Program FilesEfficient Learning SystemsCPAexcelWEB-INFjrebinCPAexcel.exe

   

4. Close the McAfee SecurityCenter window

You should now be able to use CPAexcel
