After December 31, 1999, Applicants must have at least 150 semester hours of college education, including a baccalaureate or higher degree conferred by a college or university acceptable to the Indiana State Board. There are two options for meeting the 150-semester hour requirement:

The business courses can include six (6) hours of business and tax law courses and six (6) hours of computer science courses. The accounting hours must cover the subjects of financial accounting, taxation and managerial accounting. If the accounting hours are a mixture of undergraduate and graduate hours, the higher number of hours applies.
