Studying for the CMA Exam is a challenging, yet rewarding journey. There are three testing windows in which you can sit for the exam, with testing facilities across the globe. Below you will find helpful information regarding testing windows, registration deadlines, and retake policies.
CMA Testing Windows:
- January and February
- May and June
- September and October
Registration Deadline & Rescheduling Policy:
All CMA exam appointments must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance of your exam date. For whatever reason you need to reschedule his/her exam, you can do so with 30 days notice and payment of a $50 rescheduling fee.
Exam Retake Policy:
Candidates are only allowed to take an exam part once in a testing window. If you do not pass the exam part, you must wait until the next testing window to retake the exam. For each exam retake, new registration and applicable payment of fees are required.
Exam Testing Centers:
All three parts of the CMA Exam are administered through Prometric Testing Centers. With over 8,000 testing centers spanning 160 countries, candidates can find a test center are many locations throughout the U.S. and internationally.
