Today’s press release from PRWeb:
Winner of the Spring 2013 Scholarship is announced.
CPAexcel, an innovative leader in computer-based exam review for students taking the CPA exam, is excited to announce the winners of the Spring 2013 Scholarship Program. The CPAexcel Student Scholarship program is a distinguished nationwide drive that has spanned over a decade, and is devoted to supporting accounting education and developing leaders for the next generation of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). The biannual campaign is launched in the Spring and in the Fall, and is an inimitable way to give back to the community of students who are currently enrolled in universities across the United States.
We are thrilled to announce that Alfred Worley, from Long Island University – Brooklyn Campus, is the Grand Prize Winner of the CPAexcel 2013 Spring Scholarship Program. Worley will receive $2,500.00 in cash as well as one complete Video Gold Medal Course, valued at $1,800.00.
“First, I would like to thank CPAexcel for selecting me as the spring 2013 scholarship winner as I pursue my B.S./M.S. in Accounting at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus. The CPAexcel textbooks and sample questions make a clear connection between courses in Intermediate Accounting and Accounting Systems, Money and Banking along with both BEC and FAR exams. Without CPAexcel, I would be unable to afford the preparation courses. Lastly, the Bite-Sized Lessons [will] enable me to prepare for the CPA exam while sitting in the requisite courses – making the connection crystal clear,” said Alfred Worley.
In addition to the Grand Prize Winner, five First Prize winners will each receive one complete Video Gold Medal Course, valued at $1,800.00 and twenty-five Second Prize winners will each receive one complete Online Video Self-Study Course, valued at $1,455.00. CPAexcel congratulates each and every one of the winners and looks forward to kick starting the Fall 2013 Scholarship Campaign.
