AP US History Test Dates
Advanced Placement (AP) exams are usually held during set times in early to mid-May. Typically, you will see the various AP exams spread over a period of 2 weeks.
Exams will fall into one of these three times: 8:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm. The time you take your exams will depend on your course. Exam coordinators will notify students where their exam will be held and what time to report on exam day.
The AP US History exam date for 2020 is Friday, May 8th.

There are fees associated with AP exams. The standard fee is $94, and payment is usually collected by the school administering the exam. The exam fee for schools outside of the US, US territories, and Canada is $124. For breakdown of additional fees, more information can be found here.
There are deadlines for ordering exams. The deadline to order exams for courses that start after November 15, 2019 is March 13, 2020.
AP Exams are scored on a scale from 1 to 5. There is no official passing score. A passing score is the minimum grade a college will accept for college credit. Typically, this is a score of 4 or 5, though some institutions will give credit for a score of 3, More scoring information can be found in AP US History Prep.
