    No, Wiley CMA Exam Review products do not qualify for CPE credits.

  • Q. Are the Wiley CMA Exam Review products the same as the products the IMA used to sell?

    Wiley has taken over publication of the Learning System and Online Intensive Review products, which were originally created and updated by the IMA. Wiley’s CMA test-prep products are the only CMA Exam products officially licensed by the IMA

  • Q. Does your test bank provide essay questions?

    Each Learning System textbook — Part 1 and Part 2 — includes at least twenty-five sample essay questions and detailed answers.

  • Q. What is the difference between the Wiley CMA Learning System and the Online Intensive Review?

    Both products are available for either section of the CMA Exam, or as a set for both parts. Both will help candidates study for and pass the Exam.

    The Learning System consists of a full textbook, providing an entire self-study course for the Exam, and access to the Test Bank, allowing candidates to do thousands of practice questions and take sample tests. It is most appropriate for candidates who want the whole knowledge base of management accounting to work through and practice on.

    The Online Intensive Review includes a series of online self-study modules, with interactive exercises, plus access to the same Online Test Bank as the Learning System. It is best for students who are confident in their mastery of management accounting, and who just want a refresher course to work through the testable areas and remind themselves of their existing knowledge.

  • Q. Can I just get access to the online Test Bank?

    No. The Wiley CMA Exam Review online Test Bank is only available as part of the Learning System and/or Online Intensive Review products.

  • Q. How often are the Wiley CMA Exam Review products updated?

    Wiley’s CMA Exam Review products are published annually each November, beginning in November 2012. Each new year’s products are updated to fully conform with IMA’s current Statements of Learning Outcomes for the CMA Exam, and to represent the cutting edge in learning management.

  • Q. How many questions are on the CMA Exam?

    Each part of the exam contains 100 multiple-choice questions and 2 essay questions.

  • Q. Is the CMA Exam all multiple-choice?

    No. In addition to 100 multiple-choice questions, each part of the exam also includes two essay questions.

  • Q. Is the CMA Exam offered in languages other than English?

    The CMA Exam is currently offered in English and Chinese.

  • Q. How do I register for the CMA Exam?

    Candidates for the CMA Exam must first join the IMA. Candidates must also hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent degree as determined by an independent evaluation agency. To be fully certified as a CMA, candidates must have two continuous years’ experience in management accounting or financial management; this requirement may be completed prior to or within seven years of passing the exam.
